Qatar opens sports museum ahead of World Cup

Qatar is preparing to launch the Olympic and Sports Museum to coincide with the World Cup, which will begin in November.

It is set to be one of the world’s largest sports museums, covering over 204,000 square feet. It includes five floors, a gift shop, a library, research facilities, and an auditorium. It will highlight Qatar’s history in sports as well as future generations.

Abdulla Yousuf Al Mulla, the museum’s director, believes that it will help preserve Qatar’s history. It is the first time that a Middle Eastern country has hosted the World Cup, which begins in November.
